Debbie Van Heel, Licensed Massage Practitioner,is a graduate of the Inland Massage Institute in Spokane, WA. Debbie was born and raised in Spokane. She is NCBTMB Board Certified and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).

Before becoming a Massage Practitioner, Debbie’s background was primarily in Nutrition and Health. She was a personal trainer with experience in strength training and fitness. She was motivated to become a massage therapist because she understood the importance of maintaining good health and wellbeing. She has attended several hours of continuing education focusing in lypossage, hot stone massage, reflexology and deep tissue massage, other techniques.

Debbie is intuitive and listens to the body as she manipulates the soft tissue. Her objective is to relieve tension, restore body function and relieve musculoskeletal pain in order to promote better health for her clients

One of Debbie’s passions is hosting Spa Parties for 6 -12 participants at Nora Avenue Massage & Therapies, in the Spokane Valley. Spa Parties are a great way to relax with your friends and enjoy yourselves for an afternoon or evening.

Debbie enjoys quilting, beading, scrapbooking and other hobbies that have lead her on a new adventure of massaging at retreats.  She has found that offering massages at these retreats has been very beneficial to the people who attend these retreats.
